Tasting Notes: The top-of-the-range wine from Adega Monte Branco. Produced only in exceptional years, it represents the best of two vineyards: Alicante Bouschet in schist soils, and Aragonez in limestone soils. It is an austere, mysterious, and profound wine meant for aging. It has a garnet color with high concentration and great aromatic complexity. On the palate, it is full-bodied and profound, with good structure and acidity that prolong the finish. A firm and characterful wine with good aging potential.
Winemaker: Luís Louro and Inês Capão.
