Lisboa Wine Region
Grape Varieties: Trincadeira Branca 100%
Concept: Local variety (born in Alenquer), practically extinct, saved by us. In recent years, Quinta do Lagar Novo has been focusing on local grape varieties (preferably from Alenquer), which made history in the region and are practically extinct. The objective was to recover a variety that played a fundamental role in the quality of the municipality's wines in the 70s and to show its full potential.
Production Method: Integrated
Vinification: Total destemming, 48-hour pre-fermentation maceration. Followed by gentle pressing. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 13-15ºC. After fermentation, aging in stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 5 months.
Tasting Notes: Citrus yellow color, intense fresh nose, citrus notes, almost pineapple, but subtle. Very fine and tense attack, good texture, excellent persistence and freshness. Wine with good acidity and texture.
Availability: Within 1-3 business days
