Grape Varieties: Touriga-Nacional (50%), Trincadeira (35%), Bastardo (15%).
Winemaking: Luís Cortinhas / Regina Bernardo
Vinification and Maturation: Hand-harvested into small perforated crates. Reception with immediate destemming and crushing. Fermentation in stainless steel vats, with maceration at a controlled temperature of around 23ºC. Prolonged maceration and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: At Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima, we selected the best grapes from the Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, and Bastardo varieties to create our Reserva red wine. Deep garnet in color, it has aromas of ripe black fruits, spices, and a balsamic touch, harmonized by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels. On the palate, it offers intense fruitiness, with velvety tannins and a long, persistent finish. Our Reserva is a fuller-bodied wine, whose aging has conferred greater complexity and balance.
Try it With... This wine is ideal to accompany rich meat dishes, game, or cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 17ºC.
