Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima Grande Reserva Branco 2024

Grape Varieties: Códega de Larinho (75%), Viosinho (25%).

Winemaking: Luís Cortinhas

Origin: Sandy and granitic soils at higher altitudes in Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima, with a predominantly eastern exposure.

Vinification and Maturation: Hand-harvested into small perforated crates. Reception with total destemming. Gentle crushing and pressing under an inert atmosphere. Prolonged fermentation with controlled temperature of around 14ºC. Aging in French and American oak, with stirring of fine lees - "batonnage" - until bottling.

Tasting Notes: At Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima, we select the finest grapes from the Códega-do-Larinho and Viosinho varieties to create our Grande Reserva white wine. Pale yellow in color, it is a wine of great aromatic intensity. The aroma of ripe white fruits is balanced by notes of citrus fruits, giving it freshness. This combination gained complexity and volume on the palate through fermentation and aging in French oak barrels with "batonnage" until bottling. Our Grande Reserva is a more full-bodied wine, whose aging has conferred greater complexity and balance.

Try it With... This wine is ideal to accompany rich fish dishes, white meats or aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 10ºC.
