Tasting Notes: The 1976 Colheita Port presents an extraordinary bouquet and surprising acidity, due to its complexity, quality, and refined flavors. It has an intense aroma and flavor, with hints of fruit jam, marmalade, dried fruit, cinnamon, and coffee, but always quite fresh and elegant. Delicious and subtle, with a very long and vigorous finish. Serve at 14ºC. Once opened, it retains good tasting notes for at least 2 months.

Winemaking: Quinta da Devesa Port wines are produced exclusively from batches vinified and aged on the estate. Since 1941, vintages considered of superior quality by the family's winemakers have been stored and aged in wooden casks. Colheita Ports are Tawny Ports from a single harvest year. The minimum required age is seven years, but it is a tradition at Quinta da Devesa to age the wine for many more years before bottling. The wine ages in our cellars in large vats, barrels, or 550l casks. Produced and aged at Quinta da Devesa for over 40 years, this Colheita Port was bottled in 2018.
