The Casa Américo White Reserve wine is produced with a selection of the best white grapes of the Barcelo, Encruzado, Cerceal Branco varieties, from a 6-year-old vineyard rehabilitating native Dão grape varieties at Quinta Nova in Vila Nova de Tazem. The vineyard with granitic soil at an altitude between 500 and 600 mts, in the Serra Estrela sub-region, at Dão Region, Porugal.

Terroir: Terroir of granitic soils, with an altitude between 500 and 600Mts, influenced by the mountain with 2.000 Mts of altitude.
Grape varieties: Barcelo, Encruzado, Cerceal Branco.
Vineyards: A 6-year-old vineyard rehabilitating native Dão grape varieties at Quinta Nova in Vila Nova de Tazem.
Vinification: Total destemming followed by gentle crushing into a small stainless steel tank, where skin maceration took place for 10 hours at a temperature of 8ºC. After pressing, the must was decanted for 48 hours under controlled temperature. The clear must fermented 50% in stainless steel tanks and the remainder in 500L second-wine barrels.
Ageing: Aged in barrels and stainless steel tanks. Final batch refined during ageing.
Tasting Notes: A fine and delicate aroma, enveloped in subtle toasting. On the palate, it displays a vibrant texture, full body and density, finishing with refreshing acidity.
Serving temperature: 10º - 12º
Storage: Bottles lying in the dark in a place with humidity between 65-70% and constant temperature between 12-14ºC.
