Quinta de Saes Tobias Curtimenta Branco 2023

Grape Varieties: 100% Barcelo. Vineyards between 15 and 45 years old.

Tasting Notes: Complex aromas, with notes of ripe white plum and very fresh vegetal nuances. Intense, full-bodied and structured on the palate with a very persistent finish. It is a white wine with presence, supported by good acidity and a strong mineral component.

Soil: Granitic with lines of clay

Winemaking: The 2023 vintage in the Dão region was marked by a dry winter, and the rain that fell in early spring allowed for some water reserves in the soil, which supported the plants during the dry summer months. We practiced organic viticulture, with natural fertilization and minimal treatments. Fermentation took place in contact with the skins, using indigenous yeasts. It aged in stainless steel tanks without any intervention. It was bottled by gravity without any fining or filtration.
