Born from of our unique terroir, Quinta dos Currais proudly introduces the second edition of the extraordinary Talabara, a wine named in tribute to an ancient Celtic settlement that once thrived in the region.
Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional
Winemaking: Crafted exclusively from Touriga Nacional grapes, it achieves it peak after ageing for 12 months in French Allier oak barrels, followed by additional refinement in the bottle.
Tasting Notes: Talabara exhibits a profound, rich color with subtle violet hints. The aroma reveals the utmost refinement, featuring prominent notes of ripe plums and dewberries elegantly entwined balsamic and delicate spice undertones. On the palate, it presents itself as velvety and intensely grandiose, with the presence of rich and silky tannins clearly discernible. Its complex yet harmonious structure showcases a unique minerality intermingled with a persistent aftertaste.
Gastronomy: To fully savor its qualities, serve Talabara at a tempreature between 16-18ºC, pairing it with dishes of red meats and strongly flavored cheeses.
