Grape Varieties: 100% Alicante Bouchet
Terroir: Schist soil on gentle slopes with climatic influence from the Serra de S. Mamede mountain range. The vineyard is at an altitude of 800m. The drastic temperature variation between day and night provides good ripening for the grapes.
Tasting Notes: Color: Dark ruby. Nose: Menthol, blackberry, plum, chocolate, coffee, cola. Palate: Full-bodied, lots of dark fruit, some notes of evolution. Profile: A time machine... layers and layers of flavor.
Pairing: Roast lamb, aged meats, on its own...
