Espumante São João Bruto Tinto 2023

Region: Beira Atlântico IGP

Grape Varieties: Berry, Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon.

Winemaking: The grapes, harvested at the ideal ripeness for the production of the base wine for sparkling wine, fermented, after total destemming, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation after racking. Production, following the classic method, began in 2025 with bottling, with refermentation occurring in the cellar for 24 days at 14ºC, followed by a period of 6 months of aging in the bottle on lees.

Tasting Notes: Color: Ruby. Aroma: Perception of red fruit notes, balsamic and anise notes, as well as vegetal and peppery nuances characteristic of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety. Taste: It has a delicate and fresh attack, moderate acidity and good gustatory persistence.

Recommended Dishes: Fatty fish, grilled or roasted red meats, and other well-seasoned meats.

Serve at: 10/12ºC

Potential for aging: 2-3 years after disgorgement.
