Espumante São João Bruto Branco

Grape Varieties: Bical, Maria Gomes, Chardonnay, Arinto e Baga.

Tasting Notes: Pale lemon-yellow color. Intense aroma, with notes of flower petals, citrus zest, apricot, pineapple, and bread dough. The palate confirms the aromatic sensations perceived on the nose; it is fresh and well-balanced.

Vinification: After very gentle pressing of the grapes, the must fermented for 15 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Production following the traditional method began eight months later, with re-fermentation taking place in the cellar over 15 days at 16ºC, followed by a period of bottle aging on the lees.

Ageing Potential: 2 years after dégorgement

Recommended Dishes: Pairs well with appetizers, fish, white meats, and desserts. Should be served at 7/8ºC.
