Vineyards: Schist soils. Made with grapes from Quinta do Cabido, a family estate named after its location—an inhospitable bend formed by the Teja stream in the parish of Numão. Situated in a mountainous area roughly 300–400 meters above sea level, the land slopes down towards Vesúvio, located 3 km away on the south bank of the Douro River.

Grape Varieties: A blend of traditional Douro varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, and Tinta Barroca.

Winemaking: At Conceito, we use a combination of traditional granite lagares for fermentation, employing both foot treading and a mechanical robot.

Maturation: Oak barrels

Tasting Notes: The result of a blend of wines from various years, it displays an intense golden colour and a bouquet of caramel, coffee, and dried fruit notes, accompanied by delicate wood nuances derived from old 550-litre casks. It offers a very smooth, elegant sweetness and excellent balance, leading to a long finish.
