The grapes for Sino come from various locations on the farm, with a predominance of Touriga Francesa and Tinta Roriz.
Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes: Sino is a very beautiful and delicate expression of the Douro terroir. Flower petals and spices, with hints of black and pink pepper characteristic of the traditional Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional grape varieties. Well balanced, smooth and fresh, it has a harmonious finish.
Vinification: Fermented in stainless steel vats for 7 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing: 100% aged in 225L French oak barrels for 11 months, 30% second year.
