Sharing moments, ideas, and experiences with wine lovers is something I've always enjoyed and encouraged, which is why I decided to create SIDECAR. Each year, I invite a different person to make a wine in my cellar, interpreting the fantastic vineyards of the Serra de São Mamede with their vision and creativity. This year, I invited Jose Luis Aragunde, my fellow countryman from the Rías Baixas, who decided to make a white wine in a Castanho barrel. The result will certainly surprise you!
Vineyards: Centennial of Serra de São Mamede, with a mixture of native grape varieties.
Wine Tasting: Citrine color, fresh, elegant, and subtle aroma with chestnut wood fully integrated. On the palate, it's elegant and vibrant, and its freshness immediately transports us to the Serra de São Mamede. All these characteristics make it a wine with great cellaring potential.
Vinification and Ageing: In a chestnut barrel with a capacity of 1.000 liters.
