São João Lote Especial Tinto 2018

Grape Varieties: Baga (30%), Touriga Nacional (30%), Syrah (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%).

Tasting Notes: Intense ruby color. Intense aroma of black fruits, raisins, violets and light toast. Bulky, fresh and structured attack. Silky tannins. Good taste persistence.

Vinification: The grapes were harvested manually, and after a rigorous selection and destemming, macerated for 1 week and a half in a vat with a pneumatic treadmill. After malolactic fermentation, the wine was partially aged in oak wine barrels. It was bottled after minimal clarification.

Ageing Potential: 10 Years

Recommended dishes: Roasted or grilled red meats, roasted fatty fish, game and cheese, among other delicacies. Should be served at 17/18ºC.
