Rosa CELESTE By Quinta da Gaivosa Rosé 2020

Name of Rose, name of the eternal grandmother Celeste, perpetuated in the vineyards of Quinta da Gaivosa, in the new generations of the family and in this wine. A very special edition limited to 1,880 bottles, inspired by its elegance, delicacy and light. A Rosé full of layers, softness and envelopment... like the petals of a Celeste Rose.

Grape Varieties: 70% Tinto Cão, 30% Touriga Nacional.

Tasting Note: Pastel pink tone. Notes of rose water and spice, peppermint, ginger, light grapefruit, pink pepper and fresh strawberry. Enormous complexity, involvement, depth and elegance. A world-class Rosé, with many years ahead of it.

Gastronomy: Lobster, prawns, salmon.

Service Temperature: 12ºC

Vinification: Very gentle pressing and decanting. Fermentation in barrels (10 days).

Ageing: 12 months in 2nd year 60% French oak barrels (225L and 300L) and 40% new with convection toasting (500L). With “bâtonnage”.

Storage Time: 10-15 years.
