Isento Touriga Franca Reserva Tinto 2023

The grapes for this wine come from one of the Quinta's most emblematic plots, the "Vinha da Fonte Santa," located in Soutelo do Douro in the heart of the Douro Valley. Covering 11 hectares, this vineyard features 80% Touriga Franca, a grape variety that adapts exceptionally well to the extreme temperatures experienced during the summer. Situated between 100 and 250 meters above sea level, it produces a wine of unique character that perfectly reflects the region's terroir.

Soil: Schist

Tasting Notes: Ruby red wine. On the nose, plum, black fruit, jam and fine spices stand out, with well-integrated wood. On the palate, it is structured, with round tannins and a very balanced profile. The wood is present, but always in harmony with the primary aromas, giving elegance to the whole.

Ageing: 6 months in French oak barrels.

Pairing: Ideal with red meats, grilled dishes, oven-baked dishes, and aged cheeses.
