Grape Varieties: 100% Fonte Cal. Grapes from a vineyard planted on the Beira Interior plateau, in granite soils at an altitude of 750 meters.
Origin: Single vineyard wine from a plot in the village of Vermiosa, sub-region of Castelo Rodrigo at the Beira Interior’s plateau, at an altitude of 750 in granite soils.
Tasting Notes: Intense, mineral aroma, in balance with elegant notes of white flowers, citrus aromas, grapefruit and lime, together with aromas of fruit with pulp. Vibrant acidity, with volume and great aging potential.
Vinification: Hand-picked grapes, crushing without destemming. Fermentation in 500L oak barrels.
Ageing: Aged with fine lees stirred “batonnage” until bottling.
Gastronomy: Iberian ham and other strong sausages, cured cheeses.
