Almanua F reflects the maritime influence in its essence: fresh, saline, and with depth on the palate. It is a wine for connoisseurs who value detail, combining knowledge and precision in its creation.
Made from Arinto and Alvarinho grapes, with complete malolactic fermentation and aging in 2500-liter French oak foudres, this wine gains depth and reveals a remarkable balance between overall acidity and full-bodied structure, resulting in an elegant and sophisticated white wine with great aging potential.
Region: Vinho Verde DOC Maritime Terroir
Grape Varieties: Arinto, Alvarinho.
Climate: Moderate maritime. Vineyards located near the sea with mild winters and hot, dry summers. The sea breeze brings salinity, freshness, and moderate temperature variation during ripening, which favors an intense aromatic profile.
Soil: Granitic with a clay content higher than the regional average and fertile. This very specific soil increases the structure and complexity of the wines, moderating the acidity profile of the grapes.
Profile: Moderate aroma showing a more rustic and artisanal profile, resulting from complete malolactic fermentation and the exclusivity of the blend between Arinto and Alvarinho. Full-bodied and persistent on the palate.
