Almanua Branco 2025

Almanua is the wine of discovery, creation and innovation, produced in Requião, in the maritime terroir.

Here, the versatility of Alvarinho is explored in combinations with other varieties planted in the same location. Alvarinho is always the majority, and the grape varieties for the blend are chosen each harvest. Winemaking follows the Mixtus concept, and the final wine results from fermentation in stainless steel and wood, the latter being light and used to give structure to the blend.

In 2024, Manuel and Luís Cerdeira selected the Arinto and Maria Gomes grape varieties for the final wine blend with Alvarinho.

Region: Vinho Verde DOC Maritime Terroir

Climate: Moderate maritime. Vineyards located near the sea with mild winters and hot, dry summers. The sea breeze brings salinity, freshness, and moderate temperature variation during ripening, which favors an intense aromatic profile.

Profile: An intense wine in aroma and round on the palate. Present acidity, saline and slightly fruity with aging potential.
