Textura Pura Late Release Tinto 2018

Grape Varieties: Old vines (100%) – Jaen, Baga, Alfrocheiro, Tinto Cão, Bastardo, Tinta Pinheira, and others.

Vineyards: 60 to 100 years old at 600m altitude.

Soil: Granite

Tasting Notes: Distinct red wine, with delicate fresh red fruit aromas (cherry, currant), spice, and forest scents. Marked acidity and minerality, very fine tannins. Refined, pure, fruit-forward. Long, complex finish.

Winemaking: 40% whole clusters and destemmed grapes. Fermentation in wooden vats, 30 days maceration. Aged in foudre for 16 months.
