Grape Varieties: 50% Encruzado, 50% Malvasia Fina.
Tasting Notes: Elegant in its vegetal notes from the river, with subtle exotic fruit, papaya. Elegant palate with balanced acidity.
Viticulture: The Encruzado grape variety is exclusive to the Dão region; it is quite balanced, aromatic, and gives the wines great longevity. Malvasia provides aromatic exuberance and fluidity. The plants grow on slopes located between 350 and 400 meters of altitude. The vineyard is managed within an integrated protection program, prohibiting the application of herbicides. Weed control is carried out by tilling the soil. Harvesting is done manually when the grapes reach their optimal point of ripeness, which is in the second half of September. The harvest is done in small 10kg boxes.
Vinification: Produced and fermented in stainless steel at 13ºC.
