Herdade do Rocim Reserva Tinto 2019

The “Herdade do Rocim” Red Reserva is a genuine wine produced in accordance with the know-how and passion of generations who have always had the greatest respect and fondness for the land.

Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet e Aragonez.

Tasting Notes: Deep concentrated ruby colour. Full of black fruit and some spicy notes from the barrel ageing. Firm and well integrated annins.

Vinification: Manual harvest into 12 kg boxes. After a short period inside the refrigeration chamber, the grapes were carefully selected on a vibrating sorting table before destemming with a slight crushing of the berries. Co-fermentation in french oak vats with indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature for a period of 12 days.

Ageing: Ageing took place in french oak barrels, for 14 months. Bottle ageing for four months
