Due to its location, altitude, and climate, Serra de São Mamede is a unique region for producing fresh wines. Touriga Nacional, originally from Dão, is a grape variety that is highly sensitive to freshness, which makes Serra an extraordinary place to produce fresh Touriga — especially when, as in this case, it is planted on granite.

Grape Varieties: 100% Touriga Nacional

Tasting Note: Intense ruby colour, with the characteristic floral aroma of the grape variety. On the palate, it is fresh, structured, and balanced, with enormous ageing potential.

Viification and Ageing: Harvest By hand in 20Kg boxes with a rigorous selection before entering the winery. Vinified in stainless steel tanks and aged for 14 months in very old French oak barrels to preserve the fruit.
