Grape Varieties: 60% Touriga Nacional, 20% Tinta Roriz, 10% Jaen, 10% Alfrocheiro.
Tasting Notes: Complex aroma, predominantly wild ripe fruit and pine needles. Good structure in the mouth, with wild fruits. Elegant and long finish.
Viticulture: Touriga Nacional, full and voluminous with the sweet and structured Tinta Roriz and the complex aromas of Jaen, grow on slopes between 350 and 400 meters in altitude. The vineyard is managed within an integrated protection program, with the application of herbicides being prohibited. Weed control is carried out with soil mobilization. The harvest is manual, variety by variety, when they reach the optimum point of ripeness, between the 2nd fortnight of September and the 1st of October. The harvest is done in small boxes of 10 kg.
Vinification: These wines are obtained after fermentation at controlled temperature in order to preserve all their aromatic elegance, in wooden vats and stainless steel vats for 20 days. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and then ages for 18 months in order to enhance its structure and complexity.
