Poças Reserva Branco 2021

Produced from traditional grape varieties from the Douro Demarcated Region and from the highest areas to ensure freshness. The French oak stage gives it complexity and structure.

Grape varieties: 30% Arinto, 70% Vinhas Velhas. Vineyards aged 20-40 years.

Tasting Note: Color Lemon yellow. Stone fruit, peach, quince and final with notes of honey. Engaging and fresh, good balance with a long finish where fruit notes stand out.

Gastronomy: Goes especially well with roasted fish and seafood.

Winemaking: Grapes selected in the vineyard and cut by hand. Vinification of the plots separately and fermentation in a barrel.

Ageing: Aged 9 months in a new 300-liter capacity barrel, with “bâtonnage” of fine lees.
