This wine, which respects the ancestral production technique that was brought by the Romans to this region, and which is still very evident in Vila de Frades, is a unique and very special product made from sharing between generations.
Winemaking: NaTalha Branco 2024 is a natural wine produced according to the ancestral method of Vinho de Talha in the heart of Alentejo. Fermented and macerated with full grape components (skins, seeds and stems) for four months inside traditional clay amphorae (talhas), the wine is extracted solely by gravity, with minimal intervention. This cuvée was born from a deeply personal chapter in the producer’s life — a moment of reflection and connection to nature experienced during pregnancy. A raw, authentic wine that channels new awareness and an intimate bond with the land.
Tasting Notes: On the nose, it offers notes of dried flowers, orange peel, ripe melon and wet clay. The palate is fresh and textured, with medium body, balanced acidity and a gently saline mineral edge. Finishes with elegance and persistence.
Pairings: Grilled or roasted fish, Chickpea and roasted vegetable salads, Aged sheep’s milk cheeses, Vegetarian dishes with sweet potato or mushrooms.
