This wine, resulting from the discovery, over the last few years, of hidden treasures of the Douro, was carefully selected from the best high-quality batches aged in old oak casks. Tasting Notes: MENIN PORTO TAWNY 50 YEARS OLD has a dark walnut colour and a green rim. The aroma reveals the complexity of a 50-year-old wine, with notes of toasted toffee, ripe dried fruit, orange blossom and a slight hint of iodine. On the palate, the exceptional concentration of the ageing time in old oak barrels reveals the sweetness, spices and acidity that lead to a perfect balance.
