Vine cultivation and wine production are admittedly a tradition of the centuries-old Ferraz family.
The family owns approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, of which about 5 hectares are in the parish of Horta do Douro, municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa, in the heart of the Upper Douro, and the remaining 15 hectares in Vale Flor, a centuries-old parish in the municipality of Mêda that belongs to the Beira Interior Wine Region with a Regulated Protected Designation of Origin.
