Grape Varieties: Síria, Fernão Pires, and Viosinho.
Soil Type: Granite matrix, loamy/sandy texture.
Climate: Continental type, low annual rainfall, very cold autumns and winters, springs with frost formation, short and dry summers with large day-night temperature variations.
Vineyards Age/Altitude: Approximately 10 years old, west-facing at 700m altitude. Dryland viticulture in a mountain environment, converting to organic management.
Origin of the Grapes: Own production, exclusively from the plot we call Vila Maior.
Harvest/Vinification/Ageing: HHarvest decisions based on maturation controls, according to the opportunity and the desired wine objective. Careful manual harvesting into 20kg perforated boxes, sorting table, total destemming, crushing, cold maceration in a controlled atmosphere, followed by complete alcoholic fermentation with temperature control. Post-fermentation contact with fine lees and aging in stainless steel tanks for 10 months. Bottle aging for 6 months before market release.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow color, clean aroma, delicate and floral aromatic profile. Fresh on the palate, some notes of pineapple, long and predominantly lemonade. Everything in harmony, with a refreshing character capable of facing great and varied gastronomic challenges. Try it, for example, with more seasoned meats and fish.
