Climate: Continental Mediterranean. Warm and dry days with large daily temperature amplitude.
Soils: Schist and Limestone
Grape Varieties: Arinto
Winemaking: This wine results from the best grapes of two distinct parcels, one in schist and the other in limestone. Fermentation in 500L barrels. In new barrels (50%), the must from the first presses went into the barrel without clarification, whilst in old barrels (50%), the must was clarified by natural sedimentation.
Ageing: 9 months in 500L French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Reveals enormous aromatic depth, with the grape variety evident in the citrus and orange blossom notes. It is unctuous, with immense richness, great presence and complexity. With great solidity and balance, it presents itself as refined and characterful.
Winemaker: Luís Louro
