Grape varieties: Malvasia Fina, Códega, Rabigato and Arinto.
Tasting Notes: Bright amber colour. Pleasant aroma, dried fruits, slightly iodized, with hints of honey, cocoa and wood. Soft and delicate palate, with dried fruit hints. Final taste: Very long and complex.
Winemaking: Grapes partly destemmed. One day maceration, two days fermentation in cement tanks with fortification at 8º Baumé.
Ageing: 100% Oxidative during 10 years in oak barrels of 600 liters.
Food Pairing: Good with desserts, pies, dried fruit cake and crème brulée.
Service Temperature: Serve at 12ºC
Cellar Advice: Doesn’t age in bottle. The wine wil keep its properties during some weeks after opening.
