Grape Varieties: Pinot Noir
Soil type: Granitic with clay and sand lines
Vineyards: Vineyards aged 15 to 45 years, with around 5000 vines per hectare, located at an altitude of 500m.
Tasting Notes: Minerally scented with fresh tropical fruits. Smooth and fresh on the palate with an elegant fruit and balanced acidity that provides a fairly long finish.
Winemaking: The 2024 wine year in Dão was marked by a dry winter and the rain that fell in early spring allowed some water reserves to be obtained in the soil, which supported the plant during the dry spring and summer months. The harvest took place in the first days of September. This wine is obtained after manual harvesting of the grapes into boxes. This is followed by a short pressing to obtain the must of tears, followed by a slow fermentation in stainless steel vats in order to preserve all the elegance and aromatic characteristics.
