Grape Varieties: Baga

Tasting Note: This is a slightly sweet and fragrant wine, with a delicious mix of fruits, blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry and plum, tobacco and spices.

Gastronomy: Perfect to accompany with hard cheeses, 'blue cheese', red fruit desserts and dark chocolate.

Winemaking: The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyard and are crushed by treading on foot in mills. After a few days of treading, the wine starts fermenting naturally, continuing with regular treading the fermentation is interrupted with the addition of brandy, also made with berry wine. It ages in old barrels for 2 years and after bottling it can age for at least 15 years.
