Exclusively Malvasia from different years of harvest and with an average age of 20 years.

Grape varieties: 100% Malvasia.

Tasting Notes: Topaz / brownish color, acquired by contact with old oak wood, with orange reflections. Aroma intense to exotic woods. Notes of honey, tobacco, spice, chocolate, vanilla and roasted almond. Light iodized notes. THE palate has an intoxicating, enveloping flavor transmitted by the wood of the hull, copious and complex. Notes from dried fruits, vanilla, caramel and curry, among others. Acidity and body well structured and in harmony with sweetness and tannins.

Gastronomy: Graceful and attractive for any occasion. Special at the end of the meal as a digestive par excellence. Serve at temperatures not exceeding 18ºC. It doesn't have to be decanted. After opening, the wine will remain for several months in good condition.

Winemaking: Spout open. Stalked grapes and pressed. Fermentation and temperature control. Interruption of fermentation by adding 96% vol. alcohol.

Aging: In 650 liter French and American oak barrels until bottling. This Madeira is a "blended" with an average age of 20 years, coming from the blending of the best wines of this variety that age in our cellars in Funchal and that still constitute our valuable stock today.

Expected Longevity: Madeira wines, due to their characteristics and fortification, are of great longevity.
