Grape Varieties: Old Vines 40%, Touriga Nacional 40% and Touriga Franca 20%.
Tasting Notes: Bright ruby color wine, with aromas of tea, chocolate and spices. In the mouth, shows freshness, notes of forest and very dry tannins. A long persistent finish.
Winemaking: The grapes were transported in 22 Kg boxes up to the wine lodge. They were kept in cold storage for 12 hours and then they were gravity-driven to the “lagares”, where complete fermentation. The wine then aged for 12 months in 225 L casks and 600L French, Austrian, and German oak barrels.
