Grape Varieties: 100% Encruzado
Tasting Notes: Ripe white fruit. Full-bodied palate with fruit and vegetable notes. Mineral and complex with balanced acidity.
Viticulture: The Encruzado grape variety, exclusive to the Dão region, is highly balanced and aromatic, and gives the wines great longevity. The plants grow on slopes between 350 and 400 meters above sea level. The vineyard is managed under an integrated protection program, and the use of herbicides is prohibited. Weed control is achieved by turning the soil. Harvesting is done manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness, which occurs in the second half of September. Harvesting is done in small 10 kg boxes.
Winemaking: Produced and fermented in stainless steel at 13ºC.
