Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro Preto.
Vineyards: Vineyards located at the Sub-Region of Terras de Senhorim between the Dão and Mondego rivers, planted between 400 and 500m of altitude in granite soils, with ages between 8 and 50 years old.
Tasting Notes: Colour: Light salmon. Aroma: Red fruits, light tropical and a touch of minerality. Mouth: Lively and fresh, with excellent volume, balanced by the acidity. Fine and persistent finish with great gastronomical potential.
Vinification: Manual harvesting to 15kg chests. The grapes were destemmed and subject to gentle direct pressing in a pneumatic press, in order to extract a light rose color, followed by cold decantation of the must. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature of 16ºC in stainless steel vats.
Ageing: Approximately 20% of the batch aged for 6 months in used French oak barrels.
Pairing: Sushi, Italian and Asian food.
