Grape Varieties: Encruzado. Vineyards aged 22.
Tasting Note: The character of the Encruzado grape variety combined with our granite soils is clearly evident in the elegance, freshness, and minerality of this Dão wine. It has a crystal-clear, lime green color. The aroma is very refined and elegant, expressing notes of blossoming tree, linden, lemon peel, and nectarine. The palate is very harmonious, with a mineral and fresh acidity. It reveals a persistent and very refined finish. Ideally, the bottle should be opened an hour before serving to allow the wine to breathe and present its best.
Soil: Granite
Winemaking: A great white wine, with grapes in excellent condition. The grapes are transported in 22kg boxes and completely destemmed. They are lightly pressed and decanted into stainless steel tanks, where fermentation begins with only fine lees and without pumping over at a temperature of 15°C. Alcoholic fermentation lasts three weeks. Malolactic fermentation is not performed.
Winemaker: Carlos Silva
