Carrocel Rótulo Dourado Tinto 2012

Making the senses whirl, Carousel is a wine made only in years when the fruit reaches a very high quality. Made 100% from Touriga Nacional, fermentation in lagar, in which the vinous masses rotate from lagar to lagar and the temperature "refreshes" the fermentation, giving rise to a fresh, balanced and exuberant wine, where the variety shows its full potential .

Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional

Tasting Notes: A disconcerting wine for its intensity and elegance. It has a nice ruby color. The aroma is full of personality, with aromas of wild berries and notes of plum and dark cherry. The palate is firm, supported by good acidity and soft tannins. Very fresh, with pure fruit flavor.

Soil: Granitic with clay and sand lines.

Vinification: The grapes were vinified respecting all their nature, in stainless steel vats with total maceration for up to 12 days. Malolactic fermentation and aging was done in wooden barrels (400L) with 2/3 years of use, for 30 months.
