Seara D'Ordens 20ª Vindima Tinto 2012

Quinta Seara D' Orders made the 1st harvest in 1992 in order to place the wine on the market. To symbolize the 20th HARVEST, we launched this Red 2012 which results from a strict selection of the best grapes localized in the older vineyards of Quinta. With careful vinification, we put at your disposal a modern profile wine that stands for harmony between complexity, structure and smooth tannins, not missing the final freshness that gives balance to the whole.

Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz.

Tasting Note: Deep ruby color. Aroma of ripe fruit, floral notes, deep, exotic wood. Vinous, full-bodied, soft, spicy, deep and fresh.

Vinification: 100% destemmed, vinified in stainless steel vats with temperature control.

Ageing: 12 Months in American Oak Barrels and 8 months in bottle.

Gastronomy: Buttered goat and sheep cheeses, traditional sausages, red meats, delicate and consistent dishes.

Ageing Potential: It is a ripe and intense wine, specific of the “Terroir” of the Douro, and a positive ageing in the bottle is predictable for many years after bottling.
