A wine designed to honour our history. A blend of more than 24 indigenous Dão grape varieties, from a vineyard over 90 years old.
Grape Varieties: Old vines – more than 24 autochthonous varieties (Baga, Touriga Nacional, Alvarelhão, Tinta Pinheira, Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Carvalha, etc).
Tasting Notes: Opaque red color. Aroma of red fruits with spicy notes. In the mouth it is full-bodied, fresh and elegant. Long and persistent aftertaste.
Vinification: In a cement vat with pre- and post-fermentation maceration.
Ageing: 18 months in oak barrels.
Consumption: Right away but with great aging potential.
Gastronomy: More structured meat dishes and cheeses.
