All these characteristics remind me of Bourgogne wines, which is why I challenged Dirk Niepoort, a great connoisseur of Bourgogne wines, to make a Castelão “Sem Vergonha”. Grape varieties: 100% Castelão

Tasting Note: Cherry red color. Intense aroma of red fruits, predominantly cherry. The wood is perfectly integrated, both in aroma and in the mouth. Very balanced, smooth in tannins, elegant, fresh and structured with a long and delicious finish.

Winemaking: Manual harvesting in 20kg boxes with strict selection at the entrance to the winery. Vinified in mills with temperature control and little extraction. Aging for 12 months in used French oak barrels.
