Quinta de Saes Encruzado Reserva Branco 2022

Grape Varieties: 100% Encruzado. 45 years old vineyards with 500m of altitude.

Tasting Notes: The fresh and mineral profile, complex in aroma, presents citrus and floral notes that combine perfectly with a strong mineral profile. Tense and vibrant in the mouth, with a very present acidity, impresses by the lightness it shows despite the excellent volume of the mouth. Dry and austere, it is a white that will benefit a lot in the basement.

Soil: Granite with lines of clay and sand.

Vinification: After a few hours of skin contact on the day of the harvest, a very slow fermentation followed for two and a half months. The 3-month batonnage caused a good increase in volume that combines quite well with its acidity and minerality.
