Coelheiros Tinto 2021

A FRESH ALENTEJO. Coelheiros red reveals the vigorous character of Alicante Bouschet while presenting the silky texture and density of Touriga Nacional.

Grape Varieties: 50% Touriga Nacional and 50% Alicante Bouschet.

Soil: Granitic origin with high clay content, sandy texture and low fertility.

Tasting Notes: The nose reveals red fruit aromas with slight notes of spices and smoke. The palate has richness and density, showing a good balance between its acidity and fine tannins. It has a long and persistent finish.

Vinification: Fermented with indigenous yeasts to best express our vineyards and soils. Aged for one year in used barrels.

Ageing: 12 months in used French oak barrels.

Ageing Potential: 5/8 Years
